Immune system
“When a lack of white blood cells exposes the horizon of being, one has to make a choice. To cloister yourself away in a germ-free environment, alive but alone, or to embrace the woman you love and catch your death of cold at the marriage ceremony? What a great show. It’s inner-directed script was unmatched by any other soap opera.” |
It's a sunny day, and you decide to go outside for the first time in a while. Wow, look at the calming atmosphere, blue swirls surround the milky white clouds as you freshly inspect your surrounding and look up at the sky. You notice that trees are indeed green as shown on the web, and that the grass is also a light green color. Oh no, you accidentally trip on the branch and fall down. Red fluid comes out of the wound in your ankle, and you notice swelling and pain. Tears start filling around your eyelids as you cry in agony. The next day, you wake up with a fever and feel nauseous as the wound has become enlarged, you stay home for a day and cry in bed wondering how will you ever fix yourself? This is when your immune system comes into play. You notice after a long session of crying that the pain is gone, and you wonder how that happened.
